Sam Muthusamy
Founder & CEO
Sam has over 20 years of experience in the software product development industry, with extensive expertise in building automation technology solutions and software products that resulted in successful sale and mergers. He has been core member of several startup companies including eCredit.com which was sold to Internet Capital Group and Corporate Fundamentals which was eventually sold to Morningstar, Inc.
Prior to Leaflet Corporation, as a founding member and VP of Engineering at Brightleaf, Sam has led the design and development of Brightleaf’s Document Automation Platform. Before that, he has worked at Hemscott/Ipreo as Vice President, where he led the development of highly scalable, web-based data automation projects for well-known clients in the financial service sector. Before that, he held various managerial positions at Rage Frameworks and eCredit.com, where he designed and implemented complex rules-based, data driven process automation engine, credit and financing products. He has extensive experience in developing, implementing and supporting software products in diverse technologies, industries and building robust extensible connectors with leading ERP, CRM, Document Management Systems and Service Bureaus.
Sam holds a Masters in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Madras University. When he’s not automating legal documents, Sam automates other stuff too: he coaches and mentors FIRST Robotics Team; volunteers at regional and national Robotics competitions.
Dom Daniels
Sales & Client Advocacy
Dom has 30 years’ experience in the Legal, Financial and Healthcare industries. He’s worked with the largest law firms and corporate legal departments across the globe. Understanding business problems and identifying technology solutions is key to his success. Dom has worked directly and indirectly for Microsoft, Cisco, Aderant, HBR Consulting, and Thompson Reuters.
His role at Leaflet Corporation is to help law firms and corporate legal departments streamline document/contract automation to provide better service to their clients and re-design their internal processes for drastic time and money savings.
Dom resides in Southern California and has a wife and four daughters and three sons.
Patrick Rafter
Marketing & Communications
Patrick has more than 30 years’ experience promoting and growing technology companies, from startups to divisions of public companies including Autodesk, Disney, and Intel. Having worked in and on behalf of companies from Silicon Valley to Seattle, Australia to New England– he has experience across many different industries including SaaS, legal and financial services, content management, security, and compliance. As Director of Marketing and Communications he is chartered with expanding awareness of the company, its products and services, and supporting Leaflet’s sales efforts. Patrick holds a BA from Tufts University (Massachusetts, USA). In his ‘spare time,’ Patrick is active in fundraising for cancer research and is a semi-professional a cappella singer.
Nitheen Rao
Engineering
Nitheen has 14 years of experience in the software industry and extensive knowledge of cloud, Microsoft, mobile, web, and Open Source technologies. Beyond his software architecture experience in the legal services industry, he has managed development teams in finance, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, and other sectors. Fluent in five languages, Nitheen was educated at Bangalore University (Bangalore, India).
Justin Pounds, Esq.
Justin is a seasoned combatant in the arena of Legal Technology. An engineer at heart, Justin enjoys designing and implementing systems to improve processes and increase efficiency. He seeks out challenges and delves into opportunities to improve the world around him. His expertise working with tech, and his experience as an attorney give him the insight needed to deliver solutions that work for everyone involved. Justin holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas (Whoosh!).

Shannon Copeland
Shannon has more than 20 years’ experience driving change and innovation in the services industry. As Chief Operating Officer of N3, an outsourced, integrated sales and marketing execution firm, Shannon is responsible for overseeing all business operations while growing the company’s profitability and cash flow. Shannon also leads N3’s innovative efforts to develop unique machine learning tools to drive operating efficiency and client results.
Before joining N3, Shannon served as a Director for Huron Consulting and as the Director of Strategy and Group COO of a global law firm leading strategy and operations throughout 18 offices in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to that, Shannon held positions at Chevron, Deloitte, and Georgia-Pacific.
Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Wharton School.
Luke O’Brien, Esq.
Luke is a veteran technology entrepreneur and experienced in-house counsel with a consistent record of producing innovative solutions to intractable problems. He believes deeply in the judicious application of technology to resolve process inefficiencies that separate knowledge-based service providers and their clients. Before joining Brightleaf, he founded, built, and sold technology companies in such diverse areas as SaaS-model legal process automation for the health law industry (Secure Record Services), GPS geoinformatic technology (SkyLinks, which he sold to John Deere), and mobile web directory services (Envenue, which he sold to Switchboard-Infospace).
Luke holds a B.A. in Biology from the College of the Holy Cross and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. Luke serves as director for LR4J, an organization he helped found that raises millions of dollars to feed the hungry and homeless in Massachusetts’ poorest cities. Sometimes he watches his brother host late night television shows.
Walter Wright III, Esq.
Walt Wright, business attorney and strategic counsel, provides Leaflet with pioneering thought leadership and cross-domain expertise. In recognition of his “outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession”, he is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, limited to the top 1% of the nation’s lawyers. He is annually included in the Business/Corporate Super Lawyer List for attaining “a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement” and has been named to the Top 100 Super Lawyer list in Massachusetts. Walt holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest Peer Review Rating as a 5.0 AV® attorney for legal ability and ethical standards and Avvo’s top rating of 10.0 (Superb). He has guided numerous emerging enterprises to successful liquidity events as a core team member. A magna cum laude graduate of Boston College Law (JD) and Tufts University (MA/BA), and a U.S. and E.U. (Ireland) citizen, his clients have New England, national and international operations.
